Reduced appetite is not permission to eat anything that still goes down. It is a smaller window. The window has to carry protein, or the weight you lose includes the muscle you will want in a year.
The useful question is not how many calories. It is what can I actually finish, and does it clear the protein line. This is a plate you can finish, with gram targets, and a daily that does not compete with the plate.
| On the plate | Target when appetite is small | Why it goes first |
|---|---|---|
| Protein | 25 to 40 g per sitting, two or three times | The leucine threshold. Below it, the meal does not do the muscle job |
| Fruit or starch | A few bites, not a side the size of last year's | Fibre and glycogen. Easy to skip, expensive to skip for weeks |
| Something wet | Yoghurt, soup, stewed fruit | Fluid arrives inside food, which is how most people used to get it |
| Fat | Enough that the plate is not sad | Satiety and vitamins. Easy to overdo once the medicine wears off in the evening |
Protein-first, because the window closes
Eat the protein first. If the rest of the plate dies, you still had a qualifying meal. Eggs, Greek yoghurt, cottage cheese, fish, leftover chicken, tofu if that is what you eat. A 150 g pot of 10% Greek yoghurt is already in the 15 to 20 g range. Two eggs on top gets most people over 25 g without a shake.
We do not sell a meal-replacement powder. If a shake is the only way breakfast happens, use one. It is a patch, not a personality.
The daily that does not need a fork
Creatine is not protein and it will not fill the plate. It is the thing you can still take on the days the plate was three bites. Three to five grams of monohydrate, every day, including the days you barely ate. That is how the reservoir stays full for the two training sessions that decide whether this weight loss is mostly fat. Creatine Daily Gummies put a full 5 g serving into two berry gummies. No shaker, no grit, no asking a nauseous stomach to drink a milky litre.
A day that fits a small appetite
-
Breakfast is the meal with the most room
Most people on GLP-1 can still do morning food. Spend the protein budget there. 25 to 40 g. Then stop.
-
Lunch is optional in size, not in protein
A tin of fish, a yoghurt, leftovers. If you skip it, dinner has to work twice as hard, and dinner is when the medicine is often loudest.
-
Do not save the day for 9pm
The late, large meal is how people sleep badly and wake nauseous. Small and early. Then the night. SleepHit for the last hour if the day has been a mess of snacks and coffee.
The protein article behind this plate is why 30 g per meal is the hard part. The muscle article is you are losing muscle too.
